Vasculata 2013 on campus at UC San Diego

Vasculata is a unique, targeted summer course that will enhance any training program, and many postdocs, as well as graduate students, have attended past presentations.

Registration is only $200 ($125 for NAVBO trainee members).

· Students are encouraged to submit an abstract for poster presentation; the feedback that they will get from the faculty is invaluable.

· This year’s highlights include Keynote Lectures by Dr. Andrew Lichtman of Harvard Medical School – T Cell Control in Atherosclerosis: More Regulation is Needed; and Napoleone Ferrara of the University of California, San Diego – Role of VEGF in angiogenesis;

· A dinner/reception on Wednesday evening.

· We offer four exciting hands-on workshops: Functions of Flow Cytometry, Multiphoton Microscopy, in vivo Transfection and Applications of Hypercholesterolemic Zebrafish Model in Vascular Biology.
