**This session is in lieu of the annual fall Steering Committee meeting.  Faculty present program updates for the Scientific Advisory Committee.  Although trainees are welcome to sit in the audience attendance is not required.

Each guest is required to reserve and pay for their own room. Individual PEG Programs will coordinate reimbursement of travel costs.

You can reserve online with the Hyatt’s Inter-PEG 2014 secure webpage to obtain the group rate or call 1-888-421-1442 and refer to the group name “Inter-PEG 2014 Programs of Excellence in Glycosciences” and provide the meeting dates.

It is customary for the Hyatt to sell out on Tuesday nights.  Be advised to make your reservations ASAP.

Guest Room Rates

Single Occupancy: $199
Double Occupancy: $224
Triple Occupancy: $249
Quadruple Occupancy: $274

Prices above do not include applicable state and local taxes (currently 13%).

Advanced Purchase Rates

Although this rate is cost effective it has the following restrictions:

  • Pre-Payment at the time of reservation
  • Is Non-Refundable
  • The Reservation cannot be changed/altered in any fashion
  • This rate is also subject to change on a daily basis based on the corporate selling strategy for the day and is subject to increase.

Therefore, the group block is a better purchasing option because of the flexibility.

However, if you do choose to use the Advance Purchase rate please send Melanie Nieze the name on the reservation and the reservation number (email is listed below).

Directions & Parking

The Hyatt Regency Bethesda is connected to Monument Parking Garage. The Monument Parking Garage is utilized by Hyatt Guests, and the garage is managed and operated by Monument Parking.

Current Rates & Lot Information

The Hyatt Regency Bethesda is not responsible for theft from or damage to automobiles. All incidents should be reported to Monument Parking.

Hyatt Directions


The Hyatt Regency Bethesda is on the Red Line Metro, Bethesda stop. If you choose to fly into the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) you can take the Yellow line metro (Direction: Fort Totten) and transfer to the Red Line (Direction: Shady Grove) at Gallery Place.
